In December of 1972 Ford introduced its 1973 F-100 marking the sixth generation of the F-series trucks. This body style is one of our personal favorites and the white and gold was a perfect fit for this truck. As with most truck makes during this generation, they were built with heavier gauge steel, but had less effective undercoating. Therefore they tended to rust on front cab supports, floor pans, rocker panels and cab corners. All the places that most mud, road salt and moisture gathered, and the hardest places to wash off. This particular truck was fairly clean but still required some panel replacement and body work. We also added a beautiful set of wheels and new tires to round out this sharp looking flat bed pick-up.
